            As reported in the Muslim holy book, the Koran; one day Muhammad was sitting around outside his tent idly watching his daughter-in-law as she went about her household chores.  At one point the woman’s garb separated in such a manner that the Prophet caught a glimpse of a naked elbow or knee. This was apparently too much sexual stimulation for the Messenger of G-d to reasonably be expected to control.

            Muhammad jumped up and went out into the desert where he whistled up the Arch Angel Gabriel, whom apparently didn’t have anything better to do, and Gabriel confirmed to Muhammad’s genitals that, yes, Allah wishes Muhammad to take the daughter-in-law as his wife.

            Flummoxed, Muhammad nevertheless finds his son-in-law and tells the lad of this remarkable turn of events.  If Muhammad was flummoxed the boy was stupefied but, hey, this is G-d’s Messenger what’s a boy to do?

            Muhammad then goes to the daughter-in-law and informs her how her life has changed.  This is, of course, Islam so the woman had no say in the matter nor does the Koran have anything to say about her reaction to the news. Muhammad then took the woman into his tent and raped her.

            Islam considers Muhammad to be the “Perfect Man” and all Muslim males are supposed to emulate the Prophet in everything he did. At this point the plot is about as thick as it gets.

            Because of the Prophet’s example Muslim males are not expected to have any self-control and the onus to be raped or not raped falls entirely on the woman. This makes a Western woman who may shamelessly expose her elbows an acceptable rape victim in the eyes of Islam.
